EXPECTED RESULTS
Students realize that our plants in our region are cultural and natural riches; being conscious about the problems caused by the decrease in biodiversity; being sensitive about protecting the environment; basic competences in science and technology, communication in the mother tongue, communication in a foreign language, digital competence, scientific process skills, creativity, communication and teamwork, design skills are expected to be developed.
PROJECT AIMS
1. To learn the properties and usage areas of the plants grown in the region we live in, by using the experienced based knowledge of the old generations.
2. To make students aware of the biological values in the region where they live.
3. To ensure that plants are noticed in our culture.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
We will investigate the experience-based knowledge of rural people about the plants that have grown in the region we live in and have been used for centuries. We will introduce traditional information about the ways people use plants with various activities and compare them with practices in other countries. We aim to raise awareness about the importance of plants in human life and the importance of biological diversity.
